Broadcast Journalism
Broadcast journalism is arguably the fastest-rising form of journalism today. In this new technological era, you are more likely to keep people’s attention in short video form. To capitalize on this, I have begun dedicating more and more time perfecting my craft with a DSLR camera so I can produce quality content in video form.

Podcasting/Livestream
Sometimes you want to just mess around with friends and talk about things that you are passionate about. Live Streaming and doing podcasts allow me to do just that with my friends. Whenever I have free time, I love to make podcasts or co-announce ball games with my friends. Below are some examples of the live streams and podcasts I have been a part of.
Twelve Hour Podcast
Twice a year my journalism program hosts a 12-hour podcast from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. where members of our community can come on the podcast and discuss a wide range of topics. I spoke on things like the influence past seniors had on me and updates about our journalism program but bar none my favorite segment I did was with two of my best friends about Fortnite. We went on the podcast and just talked about our favorite memories while playing Fortnite together for over 30 minutes. When I was done, I checked my phone and I had texts from my other friends explaining that they had no clue how we were able to keep their interest for half an hour about such a silly topic like Fortnite. However, that is what I love about podcasts, you can talk about whatever you want so there is a little bit of something for everyone. A link to the full segment is found on the left.
Livestream
On October 2, my school's girls’ volleyball team hosted their annual seniors' night. To properly show the respect that the seniors deserved, my co-anchor and I took notes before the game about fun facts each senior had on and off the court. During the game, we would have casual conversations while also calling the game and anytime a senior saved the ball or scored, we would say one of the fun facts. Our team ended up shutting out the other team 3-0 with one of our seniors scoring the last point of the game. A link to the full live stream on FHNtoday's YouTube is linked to the left.
